The Dance
If you ask returning campers what their favorite night was at camp, chances are they will tell you it was the dance.
The second Saturday of camp is the Sea Camp Dance. This isn't a cheesy decorated, bad music playing kind of dance, this is YOUR dance.
The counselors spend about a week when you are in class transforming our basketball courts into a completely different world. Huge statues go up, giant fountains are made, one year the counselors even built a revolving dance floor.
DJ Kup will be spinning the hottest singles and taking yor requests. Remember the dance doesn't end until you hear "Party Hard".
Dance themes are decided in June and you will receive a letter from Paul Butterkup, our Summer Camp Director, before you get to camp detailing what the dance and carnival themes are. Themes have ranged from Jungle Boogie, Nerds In Paradise, The "G" Dance, Cartoon Network, and more.
After you get that letter we expect you to show up to camp with the best costume at the dance! Get down with your bad self!
