Hit the Trails
Hike and T-Lab We know that Catalina is of course surrounded by pristine waters, but the interior of the island is unique in its own way.
You will get to hike up one of our beautiful canyon trails and see the amazing plant and animal life that exists on the island. Spend the afternoon learning about the history of the island, learning the indigenous plant names, and maybe spotting a bison, deer, or fox. At the beginning of the program you will take a look around our Terrestrial Lab and view some of the creatures you might see on your nature walk. You'll also check out a map of the island just to see how big it really is. Don't forget your water bottle, sunscreen, and camera! |
