Go On An Expedition! | Geocaching Hiking Camp Out Think you have the Geocaching skills to find tresure in the most remote of places? Then hop on this expedition! Take your friends and head off into the our mountain wilderness for some Geocaching fun and top it all off with some camping! On this trip, campers will hike to their overnight camping spot while finding geocaches along the way. Don’t worry, we wont forget the s’mores. In the morning, we will pack up camp and eat breakfast then head back to Astrocamp. | |
| Advanced Rockets Camp Out Travel to a dry lake bed in the Lucerne Valley and spend the day launching the rockets you built and spend the nights hanging out around the camp fire with your friends roasting smores. In the morning you will launch your rocket a few final times and head back to Astrocamp.
Note: Restricted to campers in the Advanced Rockets Class.

| Mountain Biking Camp Out Feel like exploring more of the mountain? On this expedition you and your friends will spend the enitre day riding then spend the night camping! Ride on one of the best mountain bike single tracks in the area. Spend the night at the Hurkey Creek Campground. This trip includes riding home the next morning.
Note: Restricted to campers that have been in, or will be in, a Mountain Biking class.

Rock Climbing Day Trip The San Jacinto Mountains have some of the best climbing in southern California. Let's go explore it! Get up early, eat breakfast, pack your lunch, and head out for a great day of top-rope climbing on rock faces that are visible from Astrocamp! Return in time for dinner that night and the evening activity. | |
